About Performance Connectivity, Inc. (PCI)

The same firm, the same owners, coming up on 30 years.

Owners rarely leave an IT firm over one bad day. They leave when the support that used to care stops caring, when they’ve outgrown the provider who was fine at ten people, or when an acquisition changes everything overnight and the people who knew their business are gone. Every one of those is the same failure: continuity broke. Continuity is the one thing PCI has proven for coming up on 30 years — the same firm, the same owners, the same person accountable for the advice.

A timeline from 1997 to 2027 showing three partners joined as one firm, same owners the whole way

Performance Connectivity, Inc. (PCI) is an independent, owner-run managed IT and technology advisory firm in Purchase, NY, serving Westchester and Fairfield County businesses since 1997. The same three partners have owned and run it the entire time — never acquired, never rebranded. That continuity is the point of this page: the team you meet is the team that stays.

Still owner-run

Same three partners since 1997. No acquisition, no rebrand, no new owner deciding how you get supported.

Much of the local MSP market has been bought by private-equity-backed consolidators in the past few years. When that happens, the relationship you signed up for gets renegotiated without you — new tiers, new rates, new people who’ve never met your business. Here, the team you meet is the team that stays.

Performance Connectivity, Inc. (PCI) is a managed IT services and technology advisory firm headquartered at 2900 Westchester Ave #105, Purchase, NY 10577. Founded in 1997 by three partners who had already worked together for years, PCI has been independently owned and run by its founders ever since. The firm serves small and mid-size businesses across Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT — with clients nationwide — and is led by Wayne Libonati, President & CEO, who remains the advisor most clients sit across from. What sets us apart

What actually makes PCI different.

Most companies sell you a stack and route you to an account manager. PCI puts a technology advisor across the table — and stays long enough for it to matter.

The advisor is the CEO. Thirty years in, that hasn’t changed. You don’t get handed down a tier; you get the person whose name is on the firm, translating what’s technically possible into what’s worth doing for your revenue, your risk, and your operations.

The firm

A firm the partners built.

PCI was founded in 1997 by three partners — Tim Kennedy, John Amaral, and Wayne Libonati — who had worked as a team for years before they ever hung out a shingle.

Wayne Libonati is President & CEO and PCI’s public-facing technology advisor — the person most clients sit across from, and the one accountable for the advice. Same team, same ownership, since day one.

Who you’ll work with

Wayne Libonati

The advisor clients deal with — the person most clients sit across from, and the one accountable for the advice.

Tim Kennedy

One of the three founders — part of the team that worked together for years before starting the firm, and still running it today.

John Amaral

Co-founder since day one. Same team, same ownership, coming up on 30 years.

Reading the shifts

We’ve read every shift early.

Connectivity is in our name for a reason. We started with wired offices, servers, and LANs — the plumbing every business ran on.

Then we moved off break-fix and time-and-materials to managed, monitored IT years before the market did. We read the internet, the cloud, virtualization, zero trust, and now AI early — and moved clients through each one before it became a crisis. Reading the shift early is the whole job.

Honest history

We didn’t start here. We changed on purpose.

“We started like everybody did — break-fix. At some point we decided that model was wrong. Not wrong for us — wrong for our clients. So we changed.”
Wayne Libonati President & CEO, Performance Connectivity, Inc. (PCI)

The hard part wasn’t the technology. It was earning the trust to run a better model.

Independence

Independent, and staying that way.

Four things that don’t move, no matter what the industry does around us.

Owner-run

The founders still run the firm. No outside investors setting quotas, no private-equity owner changing the name on the door. The people accountable for your advice own the business.

Vendor-honest

We’ll name the tools we’d use and tell you why — but we’re attached to none of them. The recommendation follows your business, not a partner tier or a quota.

Accountable

One line of accountability. When we say it’s handled, that’s on us — not a queue, not a ticket number, not a vendor down the chain.

Relationship-first

The value isn’t a tool you buy — it’s a relationship that compounds. We stay long enough to learn your business, and that continuity is what makes the advice worth having.
